GeoVanna Gonzalez (b. Los Angeles) now considers Miami her home base. Her interdisciplinary practice spans performance, installation, sculpture and moving image, exploring the interplay between the live body, spatial dynamics and sculptural form. Forging connections between private and public realms through participatory and interventionist strategies, her practice centers on an investigation of the fluid landscapes of gender and identity, alongside the intimate dynamics of proximity and relationality.

She is founder and curator of Supplement Projects, an alternative art space and community meeting point in Miami; co-founder of performative reading club Read What You Want!; and a member of queer/feminist arts collective COVEN Berlin, working on exhibitions and events that focus on body politics, gender, labor, sexuality and art.
