Susan Lee-Chun (b. Seoul) is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist. Working across mediums, Lee-Chun is constantly examining culture and meaning, particularly in a personal realm, recontextualizing how the viewer sees objects. By interrogating subject-object relationships, she insists upon the primacy of material culture in the politics of representation.

Since earning a Master of Arts (2004) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Lee-Chun has exhibited widely in the U.S. and abroad, including at Herning Kunstmuseum, Denmark; 2006 Vienna Biennale; Pacific Asia Museum, Los Angeles; and Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami. She has held residencies at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Neb.; Threewalls in Chicago; and McColl Center in Charlotte, N.C. In February 2015, she had a solo exhibition, History of Incuriosity, at the Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College.
